Diabetes Alliance Program Plus (DAP+) Announced as National Rural and Remote Health Award Finalist

Diabetes Alliance Program Plus has been nominated as one of the three National finalists in the Rural and Remote Multidisciplinary Collaboration of the year Award category

The National Rural & Remote Health Awards, held as part of Rural Health Pro’s Rural Health Month, aim to pay tribute to the exceptional professionals and organisations who have significantly contributed to improving healthcare in rural and remote regions across Australia.

Through our collaborative efforts, we have established culturally safe clinics, fostering trust and respect among Indigenous patients and across the community. Our multidisciplinary case conferencing, adviceline, and virtual clinics improve patient outcomes and upskill local clinicians in managing diabetes. DAP+ is a program with a genuine commitment to integration, sustainability, and excellence in healthcare delivery. This nomination acknowledges our dedication to improving lives and implementing gold standards in diabetes management.
