Nurse Education Day

Please join us for this informative and interactive face to face education workshop providing information to support primary care workers in diabetes care. The day will provide a mixture of presentations, case studies and tabletop discussions.

For those interested, clinician trial Libre sensors will be available.

Speakers will include: Range of expert speakers from Hunter New England Local Health District, National Diabetes Services Scheme.

Who: Nurse Practitioners, Registered /Enrolled Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners/Workers, Allied Health Clinicians

Learning Outcomes: What is diabetes – types and symptoms, medication update, all things insulin, practical foot demo, CGM reports, CHO counting, complications and CV risk, NDSS.
